We never get tired of San Juan Capistrano. From the historic mission to the quaint little houses, the whole city is full of California charm. And the light! Oh man the light! We met Susan and Jonathan in the Los Rios District for the first part of their engagement session and everything was perfect! The sun was shining, the bougainvillea was blooming, and when the two came, together it was just magical! I wish I was surrounded by bougainvillea all day every day.
This was also one of the first engagement shoots where we shot almost entirely on film! Every image in this post is on film and it’s the best. Shot on Portra 400 with a Contax 645. Part 2 of their engagement session to follow.
